The State Library of New South Wales has an extensive law collection including plain language resources, legal textbooks, law journals, legislation and law reports. The Library also subscribes to an extensive range of loose-leaf services and online legal databases.
Reference librarians will help you find the information you need.

Visit your local public library and read the Find Legal Answers Tool Kit, a collection of plain English books about the law.
The Law Courts Library is intended for judges and other legal professionals. The library is not open to students or members of the public.
Library resources can be searched via the catalogue.
Legal practitioners and libraries can apply for access to the Law Courts Library's collection on a 'user pays' basis. Access for legal practitioners does not include borrowing rights.
The library is open to access card holders from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. It is located on a secure floor of the Law Courts Building at Queens Square, Sydney.
The NSW Bar Association Library is primarily for barristers and retired members of the bar association.
The Law Society Library is a practical collection which aims to meet the information needs of solicitors practising in New South Wales.
