Care and protection of children and young people forms and fees

Forms will need to be lodged with the appropriate fee, either in person, by post or via the online registry. Find out how to lodge a form or pay a fee.

Appeals against decisions in care proceedings are filed by summons. The Uniform Civil Procedure summons is used for this.

These fees are effective from 1 July 2026 and are prescribed by the Civil Procedure Regulation 2017.
