Downing Centre reopens after flooding

The Downing Centre has reopened with upgraded facilities for court users. Limited District Court sittings are due to resume 19 January 2026, returning to full time sitting capacity from Monday 2 February 2026.

District Court Fixed Vacation Period 2025 - 2026

The fixed vacation period for 2025 - 2026 is Thursday, 25 December 2025 to Sunday, 18 January 2026. Limited sittings will resume 19 January 2026, returning to full time sitting capacity from Monday 2 February 2026. If you require any further information during this time, call the NSW Courts Service Centre between 8:30am - 4:30pm weekdays on 1300 679 272.
